i found the doormen very friendly and helpful. my room, a beautiful king room, was quite spacious. it had recently been refurbished, so everything felt new and clean.
The breakfast was not up to par (i think). the eggs were rubbery and the sausage was overcooked. i also tried to have tea one afternoon, but they were out of scones. the heater in my carriage room kept breaking. That wasn't great for january weather.
